James Caminiti Obituary

James Caminiti, 87 of Bristol, passed away March 31, 2021 at home. Born Sept. 10, 1933 in Bristol and was a son of the late Charles and Santa (Duso) Caminiti. He was an avid walker, 5 miles a day. He loved hunting and fishing as well as trips to the casino and loved to garden and keep busy. James was a member of St. Anthony's church. He was a veteran and a member of the Bristol Fish and Game Club for many years. James retired from GE in the early 90's. He is predeceased by brothers William and Tony Caminiti, sisters Connie Devito and Anna Serratore. He is survived by his wife Inez of 44 years, his only beloved daughter Pamela Caminiti Faiazza, granddaughters Kristen Santa Laviero husband John Laviero, Gina Marie Faiazza. great grandchildren Jonathan Laviero and Ava Jane Laviero and sister Ceil Whinnem and brother Joseph Caminiti, many nieces and nephews. Calling hours are at O'Brien Funeral Home from 9 to 10:30 a.m. following a mass at St. Anthony's Church. Burial to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery with military honor. He will be greatly missed by many.
