Jean Morneau Obituary

BRISTOL

Jean L. GUY Morneau, 89, of Bristol, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025. He was born on March 13, 1936 in Lewiston, ME, son of the late Charles and Philomene (Pelletier) Morneau. Guy was the loving husband of Patricia (Komanetsky) Morneau for 68 years. He was a letter carrier for the Bristol Post office for 33 years. After retirement he worked as a Bristol Hospital Courier for 5 years. While working full-time he built his home for his family. Guy was a friendly man and had the "Gift for gab". He was a member of the Bristol Elks and the American Legion. Besides his wife, Patricia, Guy is survived by his sons Paul Morneau and his wife Susan of Bristol, Ricky Morneau of WA; grandchildren Dean Morneau and his wife Maggie Hogan- Morneau, Neil Morneau; great-granddaughter Valerie June Morneau and several nieces, nephews and friends. Guy is predeceased by his siblings Charles Morneau, Rita Albert, Connie Legere, George Theriault and Fred Theriault. Calling hours will be held at O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Bristol on Saturday, September 6, 2025 starting at 9 a.m. until a procession that will leave for a 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Matthew Church, 120 Church Ave. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Matthew School, https://smsct.org/donate. The family would like to thank the staff at Ingraham Manor and Countryside Manor and a special thank you to wound care specialist, Cathy Milne.
