John Daly Obituary
John "Jack" Daly, 88, of Bristol and formally of Burlington died peacefully on Saturday, April 19, 2025 with his family by his side. He is reunited with his wife Denise (Stone) Daly and soul mate of 68 years. Jack was born on October 8, 1936 in Bristol Connecticut, son of the late John J. and Diana (Dube) Daly. Jack is survived by his son Richard Daly and his wife Geri of Bristol, John Daly of OH; grandson Bryan Daly and his partner Adnan Babaic of Bristol. Besides his wife Denise, Jack is predeceased by his sons Paul and Mark Daly and sisters Joan Day and Dorothy Kalvitis. Jack retired from New Departure after 34 years as a dedicated Tool & Die maker. In retirement, he poured his passion into woodworking, creating beautiful colonial-style furniture that reflected his craftsmanship and attention to detail. Jack was known for his integrity, gentle spirit, and deep love for his family. He was a thoughtful man, full of knowledge and history, always ready to share a story or lend a helping hand. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the staff at Ingraham Manor for their compassion and care. A graveside service will be held directly at Peacedale Cemetery on James P Casey Rd in Bristol at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 2025.
