Mary Virginia "Dolly" Ganem (ne Shamon), 91, of Farmington, CT, passed away on January 13, 2026. A private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are appreciated. We invite you to read her life story on Legacy.com.

So sorry to hear about your mom. I remember her enjoying life to the fullest... camping in Rhode Island to the lake cottage in Winsted and searching for grape leaves! She always treated me like family. I was intimated by such a large family but loved being with the Ganem family because of mom and my great friend Georgia! I think fondly of our moments together!!! So sorry for your family loss.
