Peter Haras Obituary
Peter was born on Jan. 6, 1947 in Mannheim, Germany, and was a son of the late John and Lida (Specht) Haras. After living in New York, he moved to Enfield.
He married and started his family there until moving to Bristol in 1969. He worked in the IT field until retirement.
His family was his first love followed by being near the ocean spending half the year at their home in Clearwater, FL.
The beach, soaking up the sun, was his happy place.
In addition to his wife, Peter is survived by daughter, Tanya Haras of Bristol; a son, Stephen Haras and wife, Melissa of Burlington; the joys of his life, his grandchildren: Sarah and Kasey Buchas of Bristol, Brendan and Nathan Haras of Burlington; a brother-in-law: Thomas Watton of Dunedin, FL; several nephews and a niece; an aunt, Victoria Tkchuk, and cousins: George and Natalie Tkchuk.
The family would like to especially thank Dr. D Brahaj and staff of the Bristol Cancer Center for their care.
Funeral and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Funk Funeral Home, Bristol, is honored to serve the Haras family.
