Beloved Brother
With profound love and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our sweet, beloved brother, Peter Joseph, who left this world on December 22, at the age of 61 for a heavenly reunion with our mom, Ann (Bonna) and dad, Gene.
Born April 13, 1964, he faced life with challenges that required patience, understanding, and extra care. Through Peter's gentle spirit and unique way of experiencing the world we learned unconditional love, patience, compassion, to slow down and celebrate simple moments.
Peter loved his monthly, weekend vacations at Maureen's, floating in the pool, supervising yard work, family BBQs, karaoke nights, Dr. Seuss books, anything chocolate, a good cup of coffee, nice shoes, dancing in the Target checkout line and was never known to turn down an opportunity to go mobile for a McDonald's Happy Meal/Pepsi.
Peter is survived by sisters, Patrica (Keith) Koval, Maureen (Jason Hart), brother, Eugene (Robin) Torrence, niece Sarah (Steven) Ethier, niece Alexa (Brayden) Leopold, nephew Jake Torrence, grand-nephews Carter & Jackson Ethier and other nieces & extended family.
Arrangements; Peter's wake will be Friday, January 2, 2026 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High Street. Thomaston. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Church.
