I first met Ron the first day of Junior High School. In a matter of 6 hours he, myself and 3 others were staying after school writing "I will not talk during assembly programs" 1000 times, thanks to Ron. That was the beginning of a great friendship that lasted right up to the end. We had a lot of fun together, especially with his 64 Galaxy 500 XL with the 427 engine. I worked with him part time for years and he was in our wedding. He was always fun to be with and happy to see or hear from you. I will miss him but I will always be happy to call him my friend!! Rest in peace my good friend!!

I knew Ron in Plainville Ct, we went to high school together in out teens. We were real gearheads. He was a unique kind of guy. We were always fixing or changing cars. We enjoyed street racing and fast cars and motorcycles. RIP Ron, hope you let me in on a secret when it's my turn.

Sorry to hear of his passing. He was one of my closest friends when we were growing up. We lived in the same development in Plainville and did pretty much everything together. I first saw him when he came to Mrs Koss´s third grade classroom in 1953. He was very small for his age and still on crutches because of his leg perthes and he was being bullied during that first recess. I was about to go over and help him, but it turned out to be unnecessary. He tripped the bully with one crutch and whacked him with the At was Ron. A truly unique character who will be missed by many.
