Stephen John Fallis, 83, of Moodus, CT passed away on January 16, 2026 at Middlesex Hospital after a long illness. He was born in New Britain and grew up in Berlin, CT. He served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1963. He resided in Moodus for 60yrs where he was known as a locksmith and Cub Cadet specialist. He worked as a mechanic for several dealerships, The Day newspaper and ended his career at Classic Auto in East Hampton. He was an avid gun collector, Cub Cadet enthusiast and loved his vintage Ford cars. He spent leisure time reading about cars, racing and guns, target shooting with his friends and visiting with his brothers. He loved to go to local car shows, swap meets and race tracks. He earned several trophies at Connecticut Dragway for his driving ability and motor building skills. Once retired he was able to focus on working on his beloved Cub Cadets. He was a longtime member of the Belltown Antique Car Club in East Hampton, CT where he helped with the annual show and the Moodus Sportsman's Club where he liked to target practice.

He was predeceased by his longtime partner Judy Maselka, parents Steven & Adelaide Fallis, nephew Jeffery and granddaughter Samantha. He is survived by his children Sean (Denise) Fallis, Nick (April) Fallis, Frank(Heather) Fallis, Mimi Fallis and Jim Tranmer, his brothers Richard (Rosemarie) Fallis and Peter (Annmarie) Fallis, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
