Stephen Turcotte Obituary

Stephen Paul Turcotte, 58, of Bloomfield, passed away at Hartford Hospital, on Monday, Sept. 12, 2022, after a long illness.
He was the beloved son of Paul and Dolores (Platt) Turcotte of Bristol. Stephen is a graduate of Bristol Eastern High School and Central Connecticut State University with a degree in Psychology.
Stephen's passion was working with people with mental disabilities. He worked at Hartford Hospital and the Institute of Living for 26 years prior to his illness. His favorite past-time was watching baseball, especially the Boston Red Sox. In fact, he had a Red Sox room in his house with all kinds of Red Sox memorabilia.
Besides his parents, Stephen leaves his brother Gregory Turcotte of Rollinsford, New Hampshire. He was predeceased by his sister Christine Marie Turcotte Robinson, his maternal Grandparents, Richard and Gladys Platt, and his paternal Grandparents Wilfred and Flora Turcotte, and Uncle Donald Platt.
A private graveside service on Monday, Sept. 19, 2022, at Center Cemetery, Cedar St., Newington.
Memorial donations may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.
