Werner Bayer Obituary
He is survived by his children David R. Bayer of Atlanta, GA, Linda E. Gabriele of Terryville, Cynthia Bayer-Crespo and her husband Jason Crespo of Avon and Werner G. Bayer, Jr. of New Britain; his brother Hans Bayer of Plainville; his grandchildren Rocco N. Vehovich of PA, Lily Bayer of Newington, and Christian Bayer of Lilburn, GA; his brother-in-law Ugo Gabriele of Venice, FL, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Maria V. (Gabriele) Bayer and his brother Henry D. Bayer.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday Nov. 3, 2022 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Bristol/Forestville. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 4, 2022 at 10 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Gregory Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., followed by a procession to Holy Family Mausoleum/St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Werner G. Bayer, Sr., his late brother Henry D. Bayer, his brother Hans Bayer and his late parents Valentine and Elizabeth were survivors of the World War II Holocaust.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org.
