Earl Owen Obituary

LOS FRESNOS/HARLINGEN - Earl I. Owen entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, the 1st of February 2023 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. He was eighty-three years of age.

Earl was born in Putnam, Connecticut on January 29, 1940, son of the late Irving Owen and Frances Porter Owen. He was a proud veteran having served in The United States Navy. Earl loved sports, races, and Western movies.

Preceding Earl in death were his parents and his two sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda C. Owen; his children William Owen, Wendy Karczewski, and Tonia Saffar; in addition to his step-children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and extended family members and a host of friends.

Visiting hours will be held today, Saturday, the 4th of February 2023 between the hours of two o'clock and four o'clock in the afternoon within the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. Military honors will begin at three o'clock in the afternoon, followed by a memorial service. All services will conclude this afternoon.
