Arnold T. Sanchez passed away Feb. 13, 2022, at Grand Strand Center in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Beloved son of the late Jose Sanchez and the late Patria Sanchez, cherished brother of Bernard Sanchez and Patrick Sanchez and most adored Uncle of Rialinn and Joshua Sanchez. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, Feb. 28, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 1100 Eighth Ave. N., North Myrtle Beach, S.C. A reception will follow from 1-3 p.m. at Keller Williams Realty, 925-18 Seaside Rd., Ocean Isle Beach. Thank you for honoring Arnold's love for children and his legacy of kindness and generosity. Arnold was born in Manila, Philippines, on March 12, 1965. He and his family immigrated to the United States in 1972. Arnold lived in San Diego, Calif., for over 40 years and was currently residing in Calabash. He worked as a realtor in Ocean Isle Beach for the last 15 years. Arnold was everyone's friend and favorite person. His caring, positive attitude about life made him the best friend anyone could have. He was someone you could always trust to bring your spirits up, no matter how low you were feeling. He had an infectious, booming laugh and huge caring smile - the kind that always reached his eyes and squished his loving face. Arnold would instantly brighten every room he walked in. He had a carefree, easygoing, friendly manner and everyone always gravitated to him, especially children. Arnold's hilarious sense of humor and exaggerated silliness definitely made him the most favorite "Uncle" of all time. He loved spending time with them - bowling, fishing, playing baseball, racquetball and cooking his Mom's favorite Filipino recipes. We will miss you, Arnold! Enjoy playing celestial bowling with the angels and saints and fishing with St. Peter, the greatest fisherman of all time.
