Alicia Bragg Obituary

Alicia "Kim" Visage Bragg, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Hospice of Savannah. She was 65 years old.
Born in Savannah, Ga., on a warm summer day in 1960, Kim touched the lives of all who knew her with her kindness, wisdom and unwavering spirit.
Kim was the cherished wife of Rufus H. Bragg Jr., with whom she shared 47 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter and adventure.
She was the proud mother of her daughter, Robin Mock, and her husband, Jason. Kim's grandsons, Mason and Levi Mock, were the light of her life, and she was affectionately known to them as "Granny." She is also survived by her devoted brother, John Visage (Pamela); sister, Donna Kupec. Her mother-in-law, Rebecca Bragg, held a special place in her heart, and Kim cherished their close relationship. Kim will be missed dearly by her loving sister-in-law, Debbie Shuman; nephews, Davey Shuman (Melissa) and Robbie Shuman (Victoria); lifelong friend, Denise Morris (Randy); as well as numerous cousins and great-nephews.
A passionate reader and a retired librarian, Kim dedicated over 20 years of service to the Pembroke library, where her love for literature inspired many. Kim found joy in the simple pleasures of life, like feeling the sand between her toes at the beach, exploring the wonders of the Kennedy Space Center, or enjoying a concert by her favorite bands, Fleetwood Mac and the Eagles. Her zest for life extended to her love for travel, her fascination with all things spooky, shared with her grandson, and her pride in her father's distinguished military career with the Air Force. Kim was a strong woman who overcame many challenges in her younger years, emerging with a resilience that was admired by all. Her faithful canine companions were her joy, and she held a special place in her heart for each one. Kim had the unique ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved, and her home was always a haven of warmth and comfort.
Preceded in death by her father, Charles "Jack" Visage; her mother, Olivia "Rita" Adams Visage; father-in-law, Rufus H. Bragg Sr.; brother-in-law, David Shuman; and nephew, Ryan Shuman, Kim is now reunited with family members who passed before her.
The services celebrating Kim's life were held on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Flanders Powell Funeral Home & Crematory in Pembroke, Ga.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to noon, followed by a funeral service at noon.
Pallbearers honoring Kim's life include Jason Mock, Davey Shuman, Grant Shuman, Robbie Shuman, Mason Mock and Rick Sandefur.
Arrangements are provided by Flanders Powell Funeral Home & Crematory.
Kim will forever be remembered for her strength, her passion for life and her boundless love for her family and friends.
