Charles Conn, Jr. Obituary
Mr. Charles "Chuck" Clifton Conn, Jr. age 51 died Saturday, March 20, 2010 at his home.
Mr. Conn was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp where he served as a demolition expert. He was also an expert carpenter and enjoyed the beach, surfing, scuba diving and taking his great nephews, John and Bear on many adventures in his jeep.
Survivors include his mother, Gloria Schneider of Pembroke; father, Charles Clifton Conn, Sr. of Cullman, Ala.; sister, Cheryl Conn of Elberta, Ala.; brothers, Cary Conn and Christopher Conn both of Twentynine Palms, Calif.; cousins, Shannon LaTona of Birmingham, Ala. and James Huckaby of Huntsville, Ala.; eight nieces and nephews and three great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 1-3 P.M. Wednesday at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 3 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jesse France officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Birmingham, Ala.
Flanders Morrison Funeral Home of Pembroke is in charge of the arrangements.

Aunt Dody, Uncle Charles, Cheryl, Chris and Cary,
Only our Lord knows our hearts and only He can judge us. The Chuck I knew had the heart of a child. His heart seemed to love people and want to make them happy. I was listening to the song Free Bird and thought of him. He is truly free of the cares of this world. I know God's loving arms are around him. Fly high Chuck.
