Joseph Hines Obituary
Mr. Joseph Daniels Hines, 51, passed into eternal rest on Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, S.C., after a brief illness.
He was a native of Claxton, having resided in Greenville, S.C., for the past two years. He was a graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School. He was an independent truck driver in Greenville, S.C.
He is survived by a daughter, Marquerita Hines of Spartanburg, S.C.; a son, Maurice (Christina) Hines of Anchorage, Alaska; three sisters, Carol Jones and Marcia Hines, both of Spartanburg, S.C., and Rebecca Hines Robertson of Statesboro; two brothers, Frank Oliver Hines Jr. of Guyton and James Eric Hines of Statesboro; four grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Groveland with the Rev. L. Perry McNeal serving as pastor and the Rev. Arthur Kelly serving as eulogist. Interment will be held in church cemetery.
Viewing is from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home Pembroke Chapel.
