Peggy Piet Obituary
She was a medical transcripitionist and a member of Emit Grove Baptist Church in Statesboro.
She loved computers, games and music. Most of all, she loved God and her family.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Peggy was preceded in death by one sister, Geneva Fay Hemingway.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Harold Frank Piet of Pembroke; three daughters, Alisha Chassereau of Statesboro, Amy Snipes of St. Augustine, Fla.; and Rachel Lanier of Statesboro; one brother, Donald J. Hemingway of Hope Mills, N.C.; one sister, Patricia A. Mathews of Whitfield, Ind.; grandchildren, Bryan and Chloe Piet, Haley Snipes, Christopher Piet, Kelsey Bragg, Holden Bragg, Kristina Piet, Hank Lanier, Maddison Chassereau and Jacob Frazier; great-grandchildren, Silas Piet, Judson Piet, Soren Piet and Cheyenne Rae Case; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the funeral home.
The funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, November 14, 2024, in the chapel of Flanders Powell Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Sullivan officiating.
