Veria Frank Obituary

Veria Louise Frank, 69, of Defiance, Ohio, lost her battle to cancer and passed on Oct. 31 surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Defiance, Ohio, on Sept. 22, 1956, to William Stanley Young and Elaine Fay Boyd Young. Graduated from Defiance High School in 1975. Married to Jerome "Jerry" Ernest Kennedy (deceased July 4, 1991). Met James "Jim" Warren Frank in 1994 and married on July 8, 2000.

Children of Veria and Jerry, Jeremy William Lowell (Anita) Kennedy of Defiance and Catherine Nicole (Kory Boggs) Kennedy of Hilliard, Ohio; stepchildren, Kerry Lee (Kelly) Frank of Stryker, Alan Christopher Frank of West Unity, Ryan James Frank of Bryan; grandchildren, Lowell Jerome Kennedy, Marie Lynn Kennedy, Evan Zeissig and Jenna Strup (Kerry & Kelly Frank); siblings, Eugene "Gene" William, Baby Girl Young (deceased prior to birth), James "Jim" David (Veria's twin); and lifetime friends, Jackie Williams, Carole Bennett and Becky Saman.

Work: AC Masters (Jerry), Women & Family Services Rape Crisis Center, Recovery Services.

Committed to community and social services across Defiance, Williams, Henry and Fulton counties.

Though the road was long and arduous, Veria never lost faith in God's decisions throughout the process.

Visitation: Tuesday, Nov. 4 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance, Ohio, 4-8 p.m.

Visitation and Memorial Service Wednesday, Nov. 5 at Lockport Mennonite Church in Stryker, Ohio, 10 a.m.-noon with a meal following the service. Internment will commence afterward at Riverview Memory Gardens in Defiance.

Donations can be sent to Lockport Mennonite Church, 9269 County Road 21N, Stryker, Ohio. Online condolences can be given at www.Schafferfh.com.
