Doug was a beacon of optimism and joy in uncertain times. Always manifesting a positive spirit, he would brighten the day of anyone interacting with him!
Over the last thirty years, Monica and I had many wonderful conversations with Doug about so much of life. When he was at our home, he would always give our dog biscuits...that he somehow magically brought forth!
He was a great influence on the world and he will be missed.

Doug would drop off checks to my place of work. It was always wonderful speaking with him. As a lover of music wish I would have had a chance to talk to him about his guitar playing and experience. So sorry for your loss.

Phenomenal human being. He conquered the saying:" Love and Be Loved in Return"
Doug : A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, employee. He was also devoted to community service and the military (served in the Vietnam War). A special honor.
We will miss him in form but will always remember his loving spirit.
His legacy is wherever his placed himself. Doug raised his children to be loving spirits and they will continue his gift of caring.
May God bless you Doug; and your family. As time continues now and forever your family and friends have many, many fond memories.
