Alice M. Weisenauer

BLOOMVILLE: Alice M. Weisenauer (91) of Bloomville, passed Sunday, April 24, 2016 at St. Francis Home, Tiffin. She was born April 6, 1925 in Crawford County to the late Thomas and Laura (Alt) Studer. Mrs. Weisenauer was a graduate of Lykens School and was a homemaker and farmed her entire life. She enjoyed being outdoors and raising chickens. She was a former member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and now Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. Mrs. Weisenauer was married to Arthur J. Weisenauer who preceded her in death in 1997.

Mrs. Weisenauer is survived by 7 sons: James (Cathy) Weisenauer, David (Joan) Weisenauer, Edward (Pamela) Weisenauer, Roger (Kay) Weisenauer, Michael Weisenauer, Daniel (Becky) Weisenauer, and Dwight (Angela) Weisenauer, all of Bloomville, 2 daughters: Mary (Harold) Kirgis of Attica and Nancy (Edward) Yost of Carey along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, 4 brothers: Richard (Dorothy) Studer and Gerald (Donna) Studer, both of Mansfield, Donald (Sandi) Studer of Medina and Glen (Deb) Studer of Attica. 3 sisters: Freda (Linus) Bishop of Mansfield, Joan Miller of Attica and Agnes (Donald) Hocker of Centerville. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son: Thomas Weisenauer and Sister: Pauline Zeigler.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Friday April 29, 2016 at St. Stephen Chapel, on County Road 6, Attica. (Our Lady of Hope Parish) . Friends will be received on Thursday from 4-8 PM, the Rosary will be prayed at 3:30PM at the Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 295 W. Tiffin Street, Attica. Burial will be held at St. Stephen Cemetery. Memorial may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church through the funeral home.
