Jerry G. "Broken Arrow" Lutz

BLOOMVILLE: Jerry G. "Broken Arrow" Lutz, 66, of Bloomville, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at his home. He was born June 28, 1945 in Tiffin, to Cleo R. and Lena Z. (Homler) Lutz. On June 19, 1976, he married Evelyn Coffman and she preceded him in death on July 23, 1980. He married Marla McQuistion on March 19, 1983 and they later divorced.

Survivors include: his companion, Lois Frankart of Bloomville; a son, Cory (Jessica) Lutz of Tiffin; two step-sons, Jay (Michelle) Zeiter of Attica, and Roger (Beth) Zeiter of Worthington; a step-daughter; Renee (Lew) Baltzell of Chicago, Ill.; two grandchildren, Abigail Lutz and Ariel Hollins; six Step-grandchildren; three brothers, Ed (Betty) Lutz of Tiffin, George (Phyllis) Lutz and Bill (Sharon) Lutz all of Bloomville, four sisters, Katie (Bob) Conger, Susie Montgomery, Jenny (Roger) Fatzinger all of Bloomville, and Deb (Randy) Fassler of Tiffin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, John Lutz, and his wife Evelyn.

Jerry was a loader operator for 35 years at Hanson Aggregates Quarry in Bloomville, retiring in 2005. He was a member of the Tiffin Moose, NRA, Ohio State Trappers Assoc., Northwestern Ohio Fur Traders Inc, and he enjoyed hunting arrowheads, hunting, and fishing.

Services will be Saturday October 1, 2011, at 11:00 am., at the Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR. 19 Bloomville, with Rev. Cathy Wirth officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Bloomville. Visitation will be Friday Sept. 30, 2011, from 2-4 and 6-8pm. at the funeral home.
