Patty Daugherty Obituary
GALION: Patty A. Daugherty, 49, of Galion, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at her home surrounded by family and friends after a long illness.
Patty was born in Tiffin on May 4, 1967 to Gary C. Cole of Tiffin and Rose M. (Zimmerman) Cole of Galion. She married Cliff L. Daugherty on January 26, 1992 and he survives her.
Patty was employed by General Mills and had worked there since 2003. Patty was proud of her grandchildren and loved her family. An enthusiastic Bingo player, she always took her good luck troll with her to the Bingo Hall. She enjoyed attending yard sales and every year she could be found at the Lincoln Highway Sale. Patty was bullheaded to the end and never quiet fighting her illness the last four years.
Patty is survived by her children; Andy Castle, Portsmouth and Heather Adams, Bucyrus, her 8 grandchildren; Madison Castle, Keelyn Castle, Jayden Adams, McKenzie Kildow, Miley Castle, Damion Castle, Baily Castle, and Willow Castle, her sister; Pamela Zealor, Bucyrus, her brother; Gary "Junior" Cole, Bucyrus, and her sister; Penny (Tim) Ute, Galion and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 10:00 AM -11:00 AM at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 13 at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating. Burial will follow in Iberia Cemetery, Galion.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Authur G. James Cancer Hospital in care of the funeral home.
