Richard Dale Ostler

COSHOCTON: Richard Dale Ostler, 77, of New Philadelphia, died Friday, June 24, 2011 in Union Hospital at Dover, Ohio.

He was born May 13, 1934 at Coshocton to the late John Henry and Verna Shryock Ostler.

Richard was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and had been employed as a store manager at the former Gross Dicount Store and the former Stover Electric, both of Coshocton. He also preached at many local nursing homes.

He is survived by nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours. Pastor Bob Jones will conduct a graveside service on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at 1 p.m. in the Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia. The Carl C. Stoller Post 1445 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars at New Philadelphia will provide military honors.

Those wishing to do so may send the family personal condolences by signing the online guest registry located on the funeral home's website.
