Our family was blessed to have known Mr. Al. He was out daughters' bus driver for the past five years. He was very special to all of us. He went over and above when it came to his job. He would circle around our street and not let kids get off the bus if a parent was not there to receive their child. In the beginning of the school year Mr. Al informed us that he would be retiring. We kept trying to convince him to drive for one more year, as most of the kids on the street would be going to a different school the following year. We knew our children were safe with him. He had a great, fun loving personality. Mr. Al always had a joke or saying that would put a smile on your face. Everyday (even in cold weather) he'd open his window to speak and wave. He was the only bus drive we knew by name. He always knew when someone was missing from his bus and would express concern. We will miss his jokes, smile, and laughter. He was always a special part of our daily routine. Mr. Al was a wonderful bus driver and will be saddly missed by us all. Our prayers go out to his family and his wife Mary Williams, on her recovery. Please accept our sincere condolences. Mr. Al will live forever in our hearts!

Mr. Al was my bus driver and friend. He took very good care of us and drove us home safely. He was very happy. He made sure our parents were home and made sure the kids got home safely. He was the best bus driver my friends and I could have. No other bus driver could replace him. I pray that Mr. Al is driving a quiet bus in heaven. And I hope his wife is getting better. God bless Mr. Al and his wife.
