Beloved husband of Jeanna (Moore) Kieffer; dear father of Rachael Trayer and Jess Kieffer; loving grandfather of Grayson; dear son of Roselyn (Marks) and the late Richard Kieffer; brother of Paul (Linda) and Jay (Kathy) Kieffer. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends may call Monday, October 21st 4 to 8 pm at the Lester H. Wedekindt, Inc. Funeral Home, 3290 Delaware Ave., where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am. Memorial contributions may be made to Buffalo Hospice Foundation. I knew Al from Hoover Jr. High. He was decent guy, always with a goofy grin. In the halls of the shop class or the team-teaching, we'd yell, Kieffeeerrrr!

I worked with Al at Blue Bird Coach Lines many years ago. He always was good spirited and laughing making the night go by. Our condolences to his family at
this stressful time. (we also worked with his brother Paul) . May He Rest in Peace.

I can´t remember a time that Alan wasn´t smiling. It wasn´t hard to get him laughing. The world will be a sadder place without him. You are all in our prayers for strength at this difficult time.

Probably the best memories that I have of our time with Al is camping. We have had some wonderful summers at camp. The stories that were told around the campfire Ooh boy were interesting. He was always one to joke around and had fun doing it.
