Uncle Al always found the good in someone, no matter how bad you might think they were, he found something good to say about the person. He was always positive. I remember a conversation my mom had with Aunt Marie,when she had Pattiann. My mother "Why Marie, your kids are grown why do you want to start over again? Aunt Marie said I don't know why yet ,but there has to be a reason. There is a reason. I think all these years later we have seen why Uncle Al was given a special birthday present of that little girl later in life. He had a plan.
Pattiann you were a wonderful caretaker. Uncle Al lived longer than expected because of your loving care. You and your brother have wonderful memories of your time together, cherish them. Try not to be sad instead choose to be happy for the good times. Uncle Al would be the first one to tell you to be happy and not "Aww go on don't be a stick in the mud" as he said to me more than once when I was young.

Dad-I will love you always. Being born on your birthday. You thought I was a gift to you and I know GOd picked you for me. Till we are together again- love you and you will always be in my heart, mind and soul daily. Celebrate up there with song and love to ma and AL and Donna and all gone before us. Uncle Al words are not sufficient to describe how I loved my favorite uncle. You were always there to listen to the kids and brought fun, laughter and music to every event and family get together. You were a fine gentle man and had a heart of gold. You definitely had your trials and tribulation while here but you never lost that sunny disposition. A lesser man would have broken but not you. May you rest now in peace with Aunt Marie and kids. Until we meet again. You did it YOUR WAY! for sure. Love & Remembering always. thanks for the memories.

I feel Blessed to have met Al. He always went out of his way to include me at his table at the dances and to make sure that I got home safely. I love the talks we had about our families. Al and Patti were two of the first people I met when I moved to Florida. They took me in and treated me like family. I thought so highly of Al (aka Daddy) and loved hanging out and karaoke with him. His sense of humor and outlook on life was so endearing. He had a wonderful spirit that will be dearly missed here in Florida.
