Just wanted to stop by again before the guest book goes off line to let Al's family know that altho those of us that worked with Al & perhaps signed Al's book back beginning Feb. 20th that we didn't just do that & walk away , Al still remains in our hearts & prayers & he will continue to do so. He made his lifetime impression on many of us & we are happy we had the opportunity and pleasure to work with Al.

I haven't spoken to Mr. Wilkins since I was a kid... but if I had to name 5 people that had a profound influence on me when I was growing up, he would be among the top 3... he lived out his faith daily. He was kind, caring, helpful, joyful.... I could go on and on. He made me want a closer relationship with Jesus. I am blessed today for having known him as a child. My love & heartfelt sympathy to all the Wilkins family.

Albert...a man of God. Most important part of his life was living for Christ. Of all the people at Gowanda AG...Albert was the only one who remembered me as a little girl. He remembered me coming to visit from Maine. It always impressed me that he would remember a little kid who came to his Sunday school class. Albert made an impact on this world...an impact foR Christ. We all should emmulate him. So, thank you Albert. You were a great example, a great friend, a great person. You will be remembered with love and missed.

Dear Pat and Family, So sorry to read about Albert. We have always loved your family. Tom was sad when I told him. He just brought up their being together for the guys morning breakfasts. A little piece of us goes with each of such loved people we have known. Albert was not afraid, he was prepared for God.

I am shocked and sorry to hear of the passing of Albert Wilkins. He worked with my father at GM and our families had other special ties. And yes, that smile and laugh will always be his signature memory. God Bless and Prayers to the family.

The last conversation I had with him was at church. He wanted to put up the addition on our house without charging us for labor. He volunteered Bert too. lol I knew it was more of a project than either of them were probably up to this summer but it just shows how big his heart was. We sure are going to miss him.

Albert Sr was such a kind man. Give him a bag of candy and a baby to hold and he was in heaven. He walked the Christian walk as Jesus expects of us all and so few manage. He'll be missed by me and my family.
