Of Sloan, NY passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Honorable Henry R. Gabryszak; loving mother of Dennis (Louise) and Mark (Anna) Gabryszak; cherished grandmother of Brian, Lindsay (Simoon) Shiferaw, Jennifer (Dr. Ephraim) Atwal, Derek and Rachel Gabryszak; dearest great-grandmother of Petra, Memphis, Vera, Charlotte, Baaz, and Raquel; predeceased by five sisters and three brothers; also survived by nieces and nephews. Freda dedicated her life to her family, extended family and friends. The family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Thursday October 16th from 3-7PM at the DANIEL R. SMOLAREK FUNERAL HOME, 2510 Union Rd., Cheektowaga (2 blocks south of William St.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 9:30AM in St. Andrews RC Church, Sloan. Please assemble at Church. Entombment in St Stanislaus Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made in Freda's name to Hospice Buffalo. I grew up in Sloan and knew your family. Wonderful family with so many happy memories of growing up there. Alfreda reminds me of my own "Matka" who I cherish ever day. I will always be proud of our Polish roots and upbringing.
