I was your lovely daughter's school nurse. In December of 2011, I
became severely ill and had to take a leave from school. I still don't know when my MD's will give me the OK to return, but I can tell you that not a day goes by that I don't think of all my students, including Angela. The first year that I took this job at this school, I packed away those heavy, faded, cotton blankets the schools provide the RN with and substituted them with the softer, cozier , fleece throws (at my own expense). That first year a few students begged me to let them borrow a throw for the day. My poor throws came back smelling of smoke and even had a few burn holes. I was not happy! The word got out fast that the nurse will not lend out her throws to anyone! Even though Angela did her darndest to let me lend her a throw, the answer was always "NO"! After I had been home for a couple of weeks and was feeling down in the "dumps', I got this beautiful "Get Well" card from the students. In the inside of the card Angela wrote "Get better ASAP! I need my mid-day naps. Luv you, Angela." On the back of the card Angela wrote,"Hi, its Angela, I already signed (the card) once, but I just wanted to make sure you see it, I seriously hope you feel much better really soon, I have your blanket because I figured ID wash it, just tell me when you want it back, feel better super soon, miss you
XOXO luv,Angela"
When I think of my "angel" Angela now, I 'd like to imagine her wrapped in that fleece throw in heaven watching over me!

To Angela's family and friends I am so deeply sorry for your loss. My daughter Megan was friends with Angela. Megan woke me early Saturday morning with the news and my heart sunk and I instantly felt sick. I know the devasting feeling of loosing someone tragically as I lost my brother in a car accident. My heart aches for you everyday, and I just pray that God gives you the strength to get through this. You will be reminded of Angela everyday in some way, and that void of her presence never goes away. We will never know why God chose to take Angela so soon. You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers everyday. If I can ever do anything to help please let me know.

There are no words to express sympathy but wanted you to know everyone is feeling sorrow and pain even though we did not know Angela, all of Frontier school is mourning her. Angela is a beautiful girl. although i haven't seen her in over a year she was always so sweet. To her family i love all of you. You will be in my thoughts and prayers, always. She has so many friends and family that love her. I hope knowing she's in a better place and with grandma will help ease your pain. To Angela's entire family. I am so sorry for your/our loss. Angela was my little Angel and I told her that on a daily basis. She would get so mad at me and I always told her she loved me anyway, upon that she always gave me that beautiful smile and said your right. I spent alot of time with her at school because as we all know Angela was never where she was supposed to be,when she was supposed to be there, any excuse to get out of class. She knew my room was a place to call home and a safe place for her to go to stay out of trouble at school. I will greatly miss her, she was a beautiful person inside and out. My prayers are with you always, the memories will always keep her alive in our hearts.

I was Angela's 7th and 8th grade Spanish teacher. She was one of the first students to school and she came to my room almost every morning to talk. She would tell me she liked my outfit, or that she liked my makeup, she sometimes straightened her hair, and then we would talk about whatever came up. She was always a pleasure in class. We saw each other quite a bit throughout the day- in the halls, during activities, in the cafeteria, and many times she came back to my room because it was a good place for her to be. After spending two school years together, day after day, period after period, we get to know our students well. We come to love them like our own. It breaks my heart thinking about how your family must feel . I am so sorry that Angela is gone. Please know that she was a wonderful young lady and that I will never forget her.

I wasn't that close to Angela, but we did chill a couple times. All the times I saw her she had a smile on her face. She was always there for all her friends. She always there if they needed a shoulder to cry on or just talk too all night. She had a very big heart. I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
