PANTERA - Anthony L., DDS It is with deepest sorrow that we acknowledge the passing of our husband, father and grandfather on March 25, 2012. Beloved husband of Judith (nee Zawadzki) for 55 years; dear father of Claudia (Dr. Edward) Sielski of Clarence, NY, Pamela (Dr. Mark) Gacek of Mobile, AL, Dr. Peter Pantera of Fort Myers, FL, Anita Pantera-Prevost and Julie Pantera, both of Cary, NC; beloved grandfather of Elise, Neil and Lauren Sielski, Michael, Marissa, Peter, Cassandra and Mark Jr. Gacek, and Ryan, Connor, Claire, Jack and William Prevost; dear brother of the late Daniel Pantera. A graduate of Nichols School, University of Buffalo and UB Dental School, he was a member of the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), 8th District Dental Society and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Pantera practiced family dentistry for almost 40 years. He and his family enjoyed skiing at Concord Ski Club, sailing at Youngstown Yacht Club and spending summers at their home in Ridgeway, Ontario. Hunting, fishing and tennis were also his pastimes. He lived in Williamsville, Florida and North Carolina. Dr. Pantera will be remembered by many for his warm, gentle spirit and genuine dedication to his family and profession. Family and friends gathered for a Funeral Mass at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Cary, NC. Memorial services as yet to be determined.
