I really liked Arlene. She was so nice and friendly. I remember one time I had some ladies over for lunch and she was there. So fun.
I know she´ll be missed.

I first met Arlene when my aunt moved to Blocher Homes in May 2019.She was such a lovely woman and I was always glad to see her. When Ralph died,I had a thank you note from her.She said she looked forward to seeing me again when all this "stuff" was over, but that never happened. A lot of stuff,COVID,Blocher Homes closing,my aunt´s illness and death, etc.and then this.I was to the Carmelite Monastery just 2 days ago for prayers for Arlene, not sure what to ask for,but I guess the nuns knew best.In her note,Arlene said she knew Ralph was in heaven with The Lord and that one day they would be re-united.Such faith. I am sure they are both with Him,never to be parted.
Now they pray with their fellow saints and they pray for us.
A memorial gift will be made to The City Mission in her memory.
My sympathies to the Bolton Family.

To the extended Bolton family, we read recently of the death of Arlene Bolton and were reminded of memories of her family. Her parents, Ed and Ruth, were neighbors of ours on Westminster Ave. for many years, and over that time they related many stories of Ralph and his career at Buffalo China and General Mills and Ed´s career at Beacon Electric. These anecdotes of their contribution to Western NY business were always paired with loving details of the beautiful summer days spent at the summer home in Canada with the family, and how the grandkids were growing up. Later, when Ed & Ruth entered a nursing home, no day passed without contact with a family member, and later, when Ralph and Arlene left their home on Tiburon Lane, the same love was shown by the new generation for their parents living in a nursing home. For today, please know that we are thinking of your family in your hour of sorrow, but remember how lucky you were to have parents and grandparents who loved you very much and brought sunshine to your lives. You are in our thoughts. Norm & Martha Richter, Lake View, NY

It was an honor to take care of Arlene and Ralph. Arlene also became a dear part of my life. Her kindness and love will always have a special place in my heart. Love, Dawn
