Loving mother of Robert (Maura) Lyons, Jeffery (Angelique) Lyons and the late Mark Lyons. Grandmother to Patrick, Megan, Kaitlyn, Andrew, Matthew and Christopher. Great-grandmother to Clara. Sister of Miriam Nostro, Gail (the late Kevin) McNamara and Joyce (John) Bender. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 3-7pm at The Dietrich Funeral Home, Inc., 2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst NY. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at University Presbyterian Church 3330 Main St., Buffalo, NY 14214 on Friday, June 21 at 11am. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to University Presbyterian Church or The Salvation Army. Online condolences may be placed at www.TheDietrichFuneralHome.com

Eggert Road school. Had many fond memories

I knew barbara for many yrs at University Presbyterian Church. She always had a warm friendly personality and wonderful smile. She will be missed. Keeping her family and friends in my prayers and praying for Gods comfort on her family.

We are truly grateful for the gift of spending time with Barbara during the holidays over the past few years in South Carolina, when she visited Maura and Rob. She will be remembered for her feisty, fun loving personality and her love of her family. She has certainly created a wonderful legacy through her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed.

I am so sorry to learn of Barbara's sudden death. I served as the Pastor of University Presbyterian Church for 21 years and witnessed her dedication first hand. She gave her time and talents in so many wonderful and meaningful ways. She will be so missed!
