Barbara Sandecki Obituary

Sandecki, Barbara Ann

Sep 23, 1942 - Nov 30, 2025

Sandecki, Barbara Ann born in 1942, entered into rest on November 30, 2025, in her hometown of Buffalo. Barbara was the beloved daughter of Frank and Rose Sandecki and the cherished sister of Joan Flynn, Rose Sandecki and Patricia Nelson. She was a devoted aunt to Kathleen Flynn (James Arone), Sharon Flynn (John Paoletti), and Jeffrey Nelson, all of whom will remember her with deep affection. Barbara dedicated 42 years of her life to serving others through her work at Our Lady of Victory Homes of Charity where her commitment to charitable work touched countless lives. She was known for her good nature, warm heart, and wonderful sense of humor - qualities that made her a joy to be around and a source of comfort to many. Barb was always up for an adventure and enjoyed traveling throughout Europe and the United States with family and friends. Her life came full circle as she spent the last years of her life living at Mercy Nursing Facility at OLV where she made many friends and had exceptional care. Those who knew her will carry forward the memory of her kindness and the gentle spirit she shared so freely. No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Victory Basilica, 767 Ridge Rd., Lackawanna, on Saturday, December 13th at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mercy Nursing Facility at OLV - Resident Trust. 55 Melroy Ave., Building B, Lackawanna 14218. Arrangements by LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel). Online condolences may be offered at www.lombardofuneralhome.com
