Many prayers go out to your family. Butch was a great and funny man, and a good friend to me at Gates. I remember sitting on the loading dock talking to him, during the short time I spent at the Flint Road Lab as well. I had just seen him the day before and gave him a hug to welcome him back. May peace find you during this overwhelming time of grief.

We last saw each other more than 35 years ago. Grew up together, and had a lot of fun doing it! Funny how all these remeberances make those 35 years disappear in a heartbeat. RIP old friend.

I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. It's comforting to know that God cares for all of us and losing a loved one is something we cannot get use to. The Bible gives us hope that one day we can see our dear loved one again. On behalf of all mankind Jesus surrender his soul for many. John 15:13 says “No one has love greater than this, that someone should surrender his soul on behalf of his friends.” Truly I am sorry to hear of the loss of your dear loved one and I hope these few words will bring you comfort and hope.
