I really enjoyed being with her during a few days of her life. We sang a few songs together (old time songs, the ones that you understood the words). I sang the first verse with her and amazingly she went on to sing not only the second and third verse!!!!. Yes it has been remarked by my children and she always left you with a smile on your face. May she rejoice now with her husband and many sisters and brother, and brother in laws. I'm sure they are dancing in heaven. God bless you Bernice, you had many trials and hurdles in your last few months. Love to you and all that have gone before you.

Aunt Bernice was one of those people who always lit up a room and made people feel better just by being near them. I am always reminded of her attitude and love of life and try to follow in her example whenever I can. Rest in peace Aunt Bernice... Love you!
