Age 83, born November 7, 1942, died peacefully in her sleep at GreenField Skilled Nursing facility in Lancaster, NY on November 26, 2025. She was the beloved spouse of Harold Asch, who died in 2024; survived by a sister, Jacqueline Henz (& family) of Morganton, GA and brother-in-law, David Asch. Bonnie was a devoted scientist and was on the faculty and headed an Experimental Pathology research laboratory at Roswell Park Cancer Institute 1980-2003. Her PhD was in Cell Biology from Baylor School of Medicine in 1976. She will be missed by many, especially friends Rose Ann Szymanski and Ron & Deborah Hyla. Bonnie was so inspiring to me, with her sharp intelligence and humor. She and her husband were both so kind and generous with their time and vast knowledge. Their talents influenced so many junior scientists who were lucky enough to know them.
