It's been 60 years since I last saw Scarsy at Albany State. She was one of a 5-member group of my friends there. She was always her own person. I think we were more fun that the other girls in our house.

When I googled her name, I was hoping to find where she is now, not her obituary. Scarsy was a friend and housemate in her freshman/my sophomore year at Albany State. Partridge House. That was 1961-62. We did have fun.

I didn’t know Carole but I wanted to express my sorrow for your loss and joy for the life she lived with your family and y’all with her. She sounds like a strong Scarsella, which I know something about, being married to a Scarsella whose father’s generation grew up in the Albany area.

I did not know Carol but I sure wish I did.
Godspeed to the family now and in the days ahead. I hope my obituary is written similar to hers what a hoot she must have been.
Rest in peace.

I didn't know Carole, but after reading her obituary I wish I had! I appreciate the good belly laugh it provided, especial during these frustrating and uncertain times. Even though I'm sure this is a sad time for Carole's friends and family, I imagine they are finding great comfort in sharing their happy memories with you. My deepest sympathies them all.

Carole and I had many memories. McKinley Pto Boys Association and HRBlock. We had lots of laughs and loved doing things for our kids. Now you’re with Joanne Paturzo probably rounding up a Pto. God bless you. Norma and Remo sorry for your loss. She lived for her kids.
