ABBOTT - Catherine L. (nee Armucewicz)

Of Buffalo, Tuesday, August 8, 2019, passed peacefully into eternity bringing and end to the struggle and pains of ovarian cancer. She will be missed greatly by her devoted husband of 20 years Charles, her loving daughter Olivia of Buffalo; and her dear stepsons Graham Abbott and Riley Abbott, both of the Buffalo area, for whom she proudly wore the title of "wicked stepmother". She will forever have a place in the heart of her own stepmother Patricia Armucewicz, her brother Richard Armucewicz and sisters Patricia (Steven) D'Angelo and Christine (Joshua) Dill. She will also be greatly missed by her many neighbors, co-workers and church friends, who were so dear to her; and of course, her cats. Mrs. Abbott is predeceased by her parents, Richard Armucewicz and Joan Musnicki-Armucewicz. Cathy came to Buffalo in 1981 to attend Daemen College and stayed making Buffalo her home. She was employed by Multisorb Technologies/Filtration Group for over 20 years as a Machine Operator. Memorial gathering and service for Cathy will be held Friday evening, August 16th, beginning at 7 PM, at Spirit of Truth Urban Ministries, 115 Gold St., Buffalo, NY 14206. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the OvarianCancerProject.org or the Spirit of Truth Urban Ministries-Rebeccah Project.
