Of North Buffalo, N.Y. Beloved daughter of the late Guerino and Josephine (nee Torchia) Mazzarini; sister of the late Theresa (late Peter) Marinaro and the late Dominic Mazzarini. Aunt of Peter (Julie) Marinaro, Christine (Brad) Meehan, Patricia (Michael) Botticello and David (Kelly) Marinaro. Also survived by great-nieces and great-nephews. Family and friends may call Friday from 3 to 7 p.m., at the JOHN E. ROBERTS FUNERAL HOME, 280 Grover Cleveland Hwy. (at N. Bailey), Amherst, N.Y. 14226. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m., from St. Margaret R.C. Church, 1395 Hertel Ave., Buffalo, N.Y. 14216. Please assemble at church. Share condolences www.jerfh.com

Kate and I shared the same birthday. We celebrated every year together. I know how much she loved her family. She was proud of her nieces and nephews and spoke of them often. She was involved in her parish and taught religious education for many years. I will miss her and think of her, especially on March 2.
