Charles GERBER Obituary
December 5, 2020. Passed peacefully after a long illness. Dearest son of the late Charles F. and Rose M. (nee Helwig) Gerber, born on March 21, 1927, in Buffalo, NY; beloved husband of the late Rose Ann (Schubauer) Gerber; loving father of Deborah (Daniel) Miller, Susan (Richard) Biddlecom, Charles A. Jr. (Elaine) Gerber, John Gerber and Michele (Robert) Garcia; grandfather of thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; predeceased by two brothers and one sister; also survived by nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by THE DIETRICH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to the Kensington Lions Club c/o John Gerber, 437 Broad St., Tonawanda, NY 14150. Online condolences may be shared at www.TheDietrichFuneralHome.com

My prayerful thoughts are with the family of Charles! I will never forget the interesting conversations I had with Charlie when I visited him - especially about his travels. I will offer Mass for him at St. Mary of the Angels Chapel on December 29.
