My deepest sympathies go out to the Stratton family. I used to work with him at Perry's Ice Cream Co. He was a great guy and very dedicated volunteer fire fighter. I just talked to him back in February and he was already talking about getting back into fire fighting, despite it being the cause of his cancer. He was very brave! My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very sad time. RIP Chris.

Stratton Family.. I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Chris.. He and my Son Bryan were such good friends all thru school and always together. I wish you eternal peace sweetie.. I do not understand why such a young man with so much life ahead is what god chooses to perish from his family, but we never know what our lords plan is. Mrs Stratton your boys were at my house as much as my son was at yours.. this is really hitting home and I am so very deeply sorry for the loss of your son.. I will pray for your family as well as Chris to have eternal rest..

Words fall short. It takes a very special person to comfort those in need and to risk your life to save those who were at risk of loosing their life. That was Christopher. He showed great strength and courageousness throughout his battle with cancer. He will always be in our hearts. We will never understand God's plan or why He has chosen Christopher at such a young age. We are deeply saddened and heartbroken. Our deepest sympathies to Rita, Skip, Daniel, Joseph and Rita. Christopher flies with the Angels of Heaven now without pain. God Bless you Christopher.

My condolences to Chris's family - we've been neighbors in the same development since 1989 and my daughter used to babysit for the Stratton family - sad to lose this young man in the prime of his life. Sleep well, Chris.
