Passed away suddenly. Beloved wife of the late Paul D. Degenfelder. Loving mother of Christopher Degenfelder, Amber (Mark) George the late Tyler Degenfelder. Dear grandmother of Bailee, Brooklyn, Arianna, Elliott, Korra, Dominic, Wyatt and Isaac. Loving sister of Patty McGinnis, Kelly McGinnis (Alfredo), Erin McGinnis (Bill) Krieger and the late Michael McGinnis. Also survived by nieces and nephews and friends. Colleen lived a life filled with love and dedication to her family. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2025 from 4-7pm at The Dietrich Funeral Home Inc., 2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst, NY 14226 where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025 at 11am. I connected with Colleen a few months back on FaceBook when I saw her one post & sent her a message asking if she was Patty McPartlin McGinnis daughter. Patty & I were friends back in our youth, we lived around the corner from each other. Last time I saw Patty was several years ago when we ran into each other at Franks gas station. We both were shocked & so happy to see each other after so many years gone by.
Colleen was so sweet in getting back to me & exchanging updates . I was hoping that one day when I get back home to Buffalo for a visit that we would be able to meet in person.
My deepest sympathy to all of Colleens family & friends. Prayers & GOD Bless you all.

I knew Colleen from All Saint's School. She helped me in the kitchen there, and Paul used to come in and help here and there as well. Hope their kids will be strong and help each other.
