Of Williamsville, NY. Loving son of Catherine M. (Buono) Scelsi and step-son of Michael J. Guagenti; grandson of the late Anthony P. and Edith J. (Tagliaferri) Buono, and Samuel J. and Lillian (Bernatz) Scelsi; nephew of Phyllis Frierson (Warner Funkenhauser) and the late Joan Sarow and Geri Buono; cousin of the late David Eason; dear friend of Dr. Greg Loewen, Leo and Dwayne (Jen) Franklin and Jason Malcolm. Family and friends will be present Friday, May 23, 2025 from 3 to 7 pm for a Celebration of Life Gathering at the CASTIGLIA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 873 Abbott Rd, South Buffalo, NY, 824-6435. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saints Peter & Paul Church, 5480 Main St., Williamsville, NY, Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 10 am, (please assemble at church). Memorial contributions may be made to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (GI Clinic or Palliative Care), Hospice Buffalo, Inc. or SPCA Serving Erie County.
