My condolences on your loss. I worked with Dan years ago when he was a young Fireman and I was a Brakeman out of Penn Central than Conrail. He was a good man and a good friend.

Dennis, my condolences to you and to Dan's family. It was jolting to hear about Dan, not so much that it reminds us of our own mortality but because we share so many memories going back to childhood; including the "butcher knife experience". Life has been a blink in time, where has it all gone? Dan was, as you are, special people and my thoughts are with you and Dan.

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Dan was a constant reminder for me to not take myself so serious and to remember to laugh more.
