VANDERMEER - Daniel P.
Age 90, of North Tonawanda, died December 7, 2021 in Buffalo General Hospital with Covid 19. Daniel was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was an Electrician and an Electrical Supervisor for the E. I. Dupont Company for over 34 years, retiring in 1985. He had been an active member of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, a member of the choir and the Church Council. He enjoyed spending time at the cottage in Longbeach, Ontario. He volunteered at the North Tonawanda Food Pantry for many years. Daniel was always eager to assist anyone who needed a hand. Beloved husband of Paula (Krueger) VanDermeer; father of Paul (Mary) VanDermeer and Dana (Gary) Roulley; grandfather of Zechariah (Sherry), Jedidiah (Jessica), Jennifer (Abiral), Brittany (Michael) and Brandi (Dennis), and numerous great-grandchildren; brother of the late Bartlett Peter VanDermeer and Jeffrey Wood. Friends and family may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., North Tonawanda, on Friday, from 4:30-8 PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home beginning at 8 PM. If so desired, memorials may be made to Abiding Savior Lutheran Church or the North Tonawanda Food Pantry.
