Father of Samantha (Martin Setlik) Axberg. Grandfather of Erik. Son of the late William D. and Shirley Jean (nee DuMond) Axberg. Brother of William C. Axberg, Glen P. Axberg and Debra J. Painter. Survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Saber Funeral Home, 549 Oliver St., N. Tonawanda, NY 14120 on Friday, July 11th from 5 to 7 PM. The family requests if anyone has photos of David to please bring them to share during the visitation. Please share condolences at saberfh.com

Samantha, I'm sorry to hear of your father's passing. I never met your dad, but I know the causes you care about and fight for, he must have been a great dad to foster those qualities I see in you, and your work. I know Robby would join me in sending our condolences. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
