Of Buffalo, NY, July 6, 2023. Loving companion of the late Christine Ragan; dearest father of René H. Battles, Michelle L. Battles, and Julieann B. (Frederick) Gravius; step-father of Melissa Ragan; grandfather of Eric, Jeffrey, Maria, Matthew, Tyler, Rachael, Kaitlin, Marissa, Addison, and Kellen; also survived by great-grandchildren; loving son of the late Samuel T. Jr. and Doris M. (King) Battles; brother of Samuel Battles III; uncle of the late Samuel Battles IV. No prior visitation. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the convenience of the family.
