David Willard
Of Kenmore, N.Y. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of David W. Comstock, who left us on September 7, 2025, to be with his beloved wife, Darlene. David passed under the light of a full Harvest Moon - a day as unique as he was. David was a devoted father to three children: David M. Comstock, Cathy Hale, and David Visko; and step-father to: Ronald Eagle, the late John Eagle, and late Doreen Eagle House, Daniel Comstock, James Comstock, Debbie Comstock, and Linda Sue Socri. He was preceded in death by his brothers Ralph, Keith, and Robert, and is survived by his brother Dennis and sister Kim. He was also a cherished uncle, great-uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. I wrote a message before, but it is not here. First, me, Deb, danny, and Jim are not stepchildren, we are all your children Dad. We have our Birth Certificates that proves it. Second, I think of the good times we had. When I was very young you taught me how to hibernate frogs at home; you took me to fly kites; and as I got older you took me to lunch at a restaurant where we played Trivia (and I got them all correct and you didn´t-lol); you had me work with you on house jobs you had; you made me spaghetti out of squash; and when I was around 50+ you brought your 4 wheeler over, hooked up the little cart I had and drove me all around my property on Grand Island; and you captured the squirrels at your house and brought them to my house because I love squirrels and you didn´t! I will miss the good times, Dad. God bless you, I will see you again
