Dear Lisa, Nathan, Zachary, Aunt Marilyn, and Uncle Dave,
I am so sorry about Dave's death. He was one of my favorite cousins. When I used to babysit for the boys I liked hanging out with Lisa and Dave as much as I liked watching the kids. I feel fortunate that I got to see you all at the family reunion last summer. I know you all have been through a lot, and you are in my thoughts.

I am so sorry to here about your dad. I was in religion calss with Zack and his dad and i remember both Zack and his Dad being very nice and funny. Nathan And Zack I wish you the best during the hard times you are going through and will be going through.

I am so sorry to hear about the death of Mr. Damon. I was one of his students in religion class at St. John Vianney. He was such a nice teacher. He is going to be missed by me very much! I loved having him as my teacher.

Uncle Dave, Uncle Fred, Uncle Buck, Uncle Lecture he had many names but in the end he was always a great uncle and the one we all turned to for advice, a shoulder to cry on or just to talk. Words cannot express how much we will miss you Uncle Dave we promise to never forget you and try really hard to follow all the advice you have given us. We will never plan a party without wishing you were there and we promise to steal more presents this year during the gift exchange just for your memory. You were always the one who made everything fun. We will make sure to tell Cameron and Ava many stories about their Great(est)Uncle. You have two beautiful boys who you will live on in. Even though we miss you we are glad to know you are not suffering anymore and we are so thankful that you were so brave for the last two years to give us all more time with you.

I'M SO SORRY THAT UNCLE DAVE IS NO LONGER WITH US. IF I COULD GIVE YOU ANY WORDS OF COMFORT IT WOULD BE TO JUST PUT YOUR PAIN IN GOD'S HANDS AND LET HIM TAKE IT AWAY. Dear Uncle Dave, Aunt Marilyn, Lisa, Zach and Nathan,
I just want you all to know that I have you in my thoughts and prayers. Dave is one of my favorite cousins and I'm so sorry that he has had to go through so much this year. He always knew how to make us younger cousins laugh and I will forever remember his laugh! It was so contagious! I am so sorry that I couldn't be there with all of you, but you are all in my heart!

Our condolences to you and your family. I work for Ingram in Canada. A couple of times, my husband and son parked at your home when they drove there to watch the football game. Dave offering your home to park is very typical of him, so giving of himself and always carries a postive attitude. 'No problem' and 'we're golden' are a few of Dave's bylines that have learned to adapt for myself. For him, life is full of opportunities. Every October 17th, Dave and I would greet one another as your wedding anniversary falls on my son's birthday.
I am honoured to have known Dave, who is filled with exuberance and sees life as 'golden'. I used to call him 'the golden boy'.
