My condolences to Dave's Family. Dave was a friend in High School and was always a quality teammate. From being an unbeleivable soccer player when no one was playing soccer, to excelling at baseball and bowling. Then, always having a kind word of friendship for all.

The last time I ran into Dave was at the Super Bowl in Minneapolis.

The world is just a little less with Dave's passing. He will be missed.

What can I say that hasn't already been said. My heart goes out to the family I once considered my own. I know how much Dave meant to all of you and will be greatly missed. My heart and prayers goes out to you.

Love,

I am deeply sorry to hear the news about Dave. We worked closely together at Carborundum for many years and in several different situations. He was a unique person who brought a different perspective to our team of managers. Dave was always enthusiastic and full of energy and new ideas. To say he often “thought outside the box” is an understatement. I confided in him completely and valued his judgment, especially in people issues.

Dave was a good friend and I will miss him. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Dave was a colleague at Saint-Gobain who helped me in managing the HR side of the Northboro R&D Center. His pragmatic advice, insight into people issues and calm but friendly demeanour helped us on several occasions. I wish him peace and I pray for strength for his family in this difficult period.

I worked for Dave for a number of years while he was responsible for the CRYSTAR operations in Worcester, Mass. I never felt I worked for him but rather with him. He was a fair Manager who helped my career greatly. We never missed chance to talk Sports - I will miss him especially for that. My deepest condolences go out to him and his family in this very difficult time.

I too only knew Dave through our football sim leagues. We had some great battles over the years. Dave always conducted himself with class win or lose. I just played Dave on Tuesday morning Nov. 2nd and had been chuckling all week about his short comment about the game. He's going to be deeply missed in our Action community. My condolences to Dave's many friends and family.

I knew Dave from our ABL baseball league, where Dave's team was the Phoenix Buffalonians. My deepest condolences to Dave's family and friends. He'll certainly be missed.

I am having a hard time dealing with the loss of my friend. We knew each other for 35 years and there was never a moment during all that time when I didn't feel lucky to know Dave. He was the very definition of a friend. If you needed him he was there and even the shortest phone call always brought a smile to your face.
I guess we should have known that there was something more going on when Dave didn't come to Pittsburgh this year or even let us know he wasn't coming.
We will always keep him in our hearts and there will never be a time that Dave is not with us.
Janet's and my deepest regrets to Francesca and to Cal and equally deepest thanks to Dave for having the pleasure of his company. Save a place for me Dave. What a league that will be. I miss you!

We were I think 3rd cousins. I am a Peszko and date back to my grandmother Peszko being a sister to her Pittner and Koziol sisters.

I will miss him very much. It is people like Dave that makes our league an important part of my life. My thoughts go to his family and other friends.

Condolences to all in his family. I met Dave many years ago when I advertised in the University of Buffalo student paper for guys wanting to play in a head to head REPLAY Baseball league... he visited my home in Dunkirk and was in leagues with him for years ... even played a game or 2 of sandlot baseball with him and his friends when I was in grad school ... he was a great guy. He is missed!

Only through fantasy baseball leagues, I have known Dave. For many years, before the internet, we talked frequently on the phone. More recently conversations were via the internet. Dave was a great guy and will be missed by all of those who "dealt" and "competed" with him through the years. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Dave's family.

This is so unfair. I will miss your visits to town and the TML Pittsburgh trips. I enjoyed your conversations, stories and the laughter you brought to all of us in our sports replay leagues.
