Of Williamsville, NY entered into rest August 6, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Judith E. (nee Herrscher); devoted father of David Uschold, Marjorie (Terry) Kernahan and Richard (Karina) Uschold; loving companion of the late Arlene Knetsch; cherished friend of Melinda Uschold; predeceased by 5 brothers and 6 sisters; also survived by many dear nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit The DIETRICH FUNERAL HOME, 2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst on Friday from 4-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 5480 Main St., Williamsville on Saturday at 11 AM. Please assemble at church. In lieu of flowers, please donate in David's memory to Hospicebuffalo.org. I am so sorry for the loss of your father. We were classmates all through grammer school and only lived 2 streets away as we spent many days playing until the street lights came on. May he rest in peace

I was so sad to hear of Uncle Dave's passing. Very often when I went home to visit my folks we would get together with Uncle Dave (and Aunt Judy, when she was still living). It was guaranteed there would be lots of laughing! It is such a loss - of him and his generation. But I imagine his laughter - along with that of Aunt Judy and my parents - echoing through the heavens! I am unable to join you, but will be making a donation to Hospice of Buffalo.
